Thailand HSS is DOA

Crowded ER
Thailand health service system is death-on-arrival.

This country's already been short of doctors
and socialized medicine will only
worsen the healthcare system problems.

I certainly would not recommend
medicine to anyone as a career.

ER's always been crowded with people who greedily want an unnecessary medications and admissions.

As a matter of fact, half of those people don't need to be there, and the more free it is the more showing up.

I have had many people telling me they don't bother to think of an OTC symptomatic treatment in the first day of a febrile illness and go to the ER for an AFI-day1 problem.

Thai people have a universal Healthcare coverage. Take a look at the USA.

In Thailand, healthcare services are  free..... as a "free" with no co-payment AT ALL!!!!!!
This will certainly lead to an exploitation of a limited healthcare resources.

We have been desperately trying to overhaul our healthcare service system,
but nothing seems to be working out.
